We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Preparation Assistant to support our production kitchen and beverage team. This role is essential to maintaining the quality, consistency, and efficiency of our luxury wellness café offering. You will be responsible for preparing core ingredients, producing small-batch items, and ensuring all products meet our standards for freshness, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare house-made syrups, glazes, and beverage bases according to standardised recipes
Bottle, label, and store drinks and ingredients to specification
Produce small-batch items including granola and raw gluten-free snacks
Portion and prepare ingredients to support daily service
Maintain accurate production records and stock rotation (FIFO)
Uphold strict food safety, allergen, and hygiene standards
Support organisation and cleanliness of the prep and storage areas
Assist with stock counts and ingredient monitoring
Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure readiness for peak periods
Ideal Candidate
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Organised, efficient, and dependable
Comfortable following precise recipes and processes
Interest in wellness, nutrition, or quality food production
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Previous kitchen, bakery, or food production experience preferred (not essential)
Requirements
Right to work in the UK
Understanding of food safety practices (Level 2 Food Hygiene desirable)
Ability to work on a rota basis aligned with business needs
Comfortable with repetitive, precision-based preparation tasks
