We have an exciting new opportunity within our Food & Beverage division for an experienced individual to join our team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor. This role supports our team of Duty Managers with various events from planning to operations and ensuring that the highest standards of product and service delivery, through detailed planning, resource allocation and leadership.
Other duties you will be responsible for, but not limited to, include:
Manage food and beverage operations to a high standard
Maintain a high level of use and understanding of Momentus
Follow and deliver Company policies and procedures
Deliver event briefings and complete post-event reports
Ensure additional charges are completed post-event
Conduct staff training and development
Utilize POS operations with Square
Oversee and manage set-up, preparation, operations and breakdowns of events
Ensure Company grooming standards are followed
Lead by example and be hands-on in the delivery of service to our clients and their guests
Maintain food and beverage inventory stock control
Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines (HACCP)
This role is rostered in accordance with event requirements and will require weekend and evening work.
To excel in this role, you will have...
Current RSA Certificate
Current Driver's License
Food Safety Supervisors Certificate
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Intermediate skills in Momentus or a similar event management system
Hospitality Management experience in large events, both retail and corporate
Proactive and adaptable
Excellent communication, leadership and delegation skills
Strong customer service focus
Exceptional planning and organization abilities
Adaptable and responsive to change, especially in an ever-changing environment
Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia
