Job Description
Shall report primarily to the Manager-Housekeeping and in his absence to Manager-F & A.
Shall deal with the casual laborers and coordinating the ward cleaning staff and nurses.
Shall develop, at short notice a special cleaning squad whenever required.
Shall be responsible to oversee the performance of the cleaning staff if provided by the outside agency.
Shall provide adequate and appropriate cleaning materials.
Shall ensure that the housekeeping staff are on duty at the specified time.
Shall achieve maximum cleanliness with economy of effort and material.
Shall maintain a work record of the housekeeping staff.
