Zorrro is a fast-growing local delivery and quick commerce company founded in 2020. We have successfully delivered over 2 lakh+ orders and partner with 200+ businesses across cities. As we expand operations in Kolkata, we are looking for driven and hands-on professionals to lead hub operations.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for candidates with 3–5 years of experience in quick commerce (food delivery, grocery delivery, hyperlocal delivery). As a Fleet Coach, you will be primarily field-based and responsible for managing delivery partners, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting the team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery Partner Management
• Hire, onboard, and train local riders.
• Ensure riders are well-versed with the app, SOPs, and delivery standards.
• Resolve rider issues, track attendance, and maintain high motivation levels.
• Ensure adequate rider availability based on order demand and performance metrics.
2. Order & Delivery Management
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of all orders.
• Monitor live orders and proactively resolve delivery delays or failures.
• Coordinate with riders and internal teams to manage peak-hour operations.
• Verify order accuracy and delivery completion.
3. Customer Support & Issue Resolution
• Handle complaints, calls, and delivery-related queries.
• Maintain records of escalations, calls, and resolutions.
• Escalate critical or unresolved issues to the senior operations team.
4. Hub Operations
• Manage daily hub operations including rider planning and attendance.
• Ensure sufficient rider supply during peak and non-peak hours.
• Track hub performance through real-time dashboards and reports.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to improve efficiency.
5. Sales & Local Market Support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local shops and merchants.
• Support onboarding of merchants by ensuring rider availability.
• Promote Zorrro’s quick commerce and delivery services in the local market.
• Align rider strength with performance and demand metrics.
Who Can Apply?
Education
• Graduation preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
• 3–5 years of experience in quick commerce, e-commerce, logistics, or hyperlocal delivery (mandatory).
• Experience with food delivery, grocery delivery, or last-mile operations is highly preferred.
Skills
• Knows Bengali, Hindi and English
• Basic working knowledge of Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.
• Strong people management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle ground-level challenges.
Personality Traits
• Energetic, responsible, and proactive.
• Comfortable with field work and on-ground operations.
• Quick learner with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
