About the Opportunity
We are a dynamic, fast-growing online academy offering engaging fitness, dance, and performing arts classes to a global student base. As part of our mission to bring highly creative and fun workouts into every home, we are expanding our curriculum to include Hula Hoop fitness and flow arts! We are looking for skilled, high-energy instructors to join our vibrant virtual team.
Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Fitness & Dance Instructor with a specialty in Hula Hoop to conduct personalized, virtual sessions. This unique role blends elements of dance, rhythmic movement, and cardio fitness using a hula hoop. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in hoop fitness or flow arts, a flair for leading engaging online sessions, and the ability to teach beginners in a highly encouraging manner.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Virtual Classes: Conduct personalized online fitness and dance classes centered around hula hooping for a diverse range of learners.
Customize Workouts: Tailor choreography, hoop flow techniques, and cardio routines based on the individual student's skill level and fitness goals.
Drive Engagement: Keep virtual sessions highly interactive, energetic, and motivating.
Form & Safety: Ensure students learn proper body mechanics, core hooping techniques, and tricks safely through clear on-camera demonstrations.
Track Progress: Provide regular, constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their coordination and stamina.
Requirements
Expertise: Strong proficiency in hula hoop tricks, flow arts, and incorporating the hoop into dance or fitness routines. (Candidates with a background in Rhythmic Gymnastics, Zumba, or general Dance Fitness who also hoop are highly encouraged to apply!)
Experience: Prior teaching, coaching, or group fitness experience (online or offline).
Audience Management: Highly comfortable, encouraging, and patient when conducting fitness sessions for a diverse virtual classroom, including absolute beginners.
Communication: Clear verbal communication skills to explain physical movements and rhythm effectively over video.
Tech & Space Setup (Must-Have): A reliable computer, a stable high-speed internet connection, and a clean, open, well-lit space to teach and demonstrate full-body movements clearly on camera.
Work Schedule & Mode
Schedule Flexibility: Flexible scheduling options available across weekdays and weekends.
Workload: Options available for 4 to 5 hours per day depending on your availability and batch allocation.
Employment Type: Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
Work Mode: 100% remote position.
