Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a secure and resilient network security infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of enterprise security tools and plays a critical role in protecting organizational systems and data.
The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with firewall technologies, network security best practices, and the ability to configure, test, and administer complex security environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain advanced network security infrastructure
• Manage the full lifecycle of firewall and security tools, including configuration, upgrades, and optimization
• Administer and support Cisco firewalls, Azure firewalls, VPN solutions, Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), intrusion prevention systems, and network monitoring tools
• Ensure secure connectivity across on-premises and cloud platforms
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve firewall and network security issues
• Participate in testing, validation, and documentation of security configurations
• Collaborate with internal teams to support security initiatives and operational needs
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in firewall management
• CCNA Security or CCNP Security certification
• Experience with Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC)
• Strong understanding of network security architecture and best practices
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments
Preferred Skills
• Experience with cloud-based firewall technologies
• Familiarity with VPNs, Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and intrusion prevention systems
• Experience working in hybrid (on-prem/cloud) environments
