About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong controllership and financial reporting experience, preferably from a core industry (FMCG/manufacturing). The role involves overseeing month-end processes, variance analysis, financial reporting, and audits, while ensuring compliance and supporting global operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Perform variance analysis, P&L review, forex revaluation, inventory reporting, and budgeting.
• Provide year-end audit support and ensure compliance with statutory and internal audit requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and business units to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Work with SAP and Excel to deliver timely reports and analysis.
• Support management decision-making through financial insights and recommendations.
• Willingness to travel internationally (especially Nigeria) for audits, year-end activities, and business reviews.
• Qualifications & Experience
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• 4–6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in controllership/finance.
• FMCG/manufacturing industry background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of month-end processes, variance analysis, P&L, forex revaluation, inventory accounting, budgeting, and audits.
• Hands-on experience in SAP and Advanced Excel is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and manage teams.
• Flexible and willing to travel internationally as per business requirements.
Location: Chennai, India
Shift Timing: (Afternoon Shift)
Travel: Must be willing to travel to Africa, especially during year-end
