We are headquartered in Singapore, but our team is remote.
Role
We are seeking an experienced and analytical finance director with strong numerical skills to drive our organisation's financial operations and improve financial performance. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and profit & loss reporting. The Director of Finance will oversee all accounting activities related to income auditing, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection and tax compliance.
What will you be doing?
• Implement robust financial systems
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and planning process
• Support senior teams to create growth strategies and plans
• Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Advise the Senior Management Team on all matters relating to financial performance
• Lead and motivate the finance team
• Prepare annual accounts
• Control all financial and accountancy matters including month end reports, management accounts, cash flow management, statutory accounts, compliance, presentation of management information and KPIs
• Support the business through change and growth periods, coordinating corporate finance, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions, as appropriate
• Ensure the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
What do we need?
• Proven experience as director of finance or similar role, minimum 3 + years of managing the entire finance function
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field
• CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
