Financial Controller UK- Remote (CPA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA)

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and perform monthly closing of accounting records, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting in compliance with local regulations and group policies.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure compliance with UK GAAP.
• Prepare and record accruals, provisions, and other adjusting journal entries.
• Handle statutory reporting and submissions to local authorities in the UK.
• Work with external auditors and the company’s international subsidiaries
• Prepare cash flow forecast for the UK and Process and oversee payments to suppliers.
• Oversee company payroll and ensure full compliance with UK regulations and statutory requirements.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure consistent application of group reporting standards and accounting policies.

Requirements:
• CPA (UK ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified)
• Experience in SME or international group reporting
• Proven experience in consolidating financial results of international subsidiaries, including intercompany eliminations and group reporting.
• Previous experience of having worked with stock and ability to reconcile stock movements
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Business One.
• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with UK statutory and tax reporting requirements and UK GAAP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience working with global companies or international operations – advantage
• Strong Excel + cloud ERP
• Comfortable working remotely
