Finance Officer - Financial Accounting
Job Description
A ) Public Listing & Regulatory Compliance
File timely quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements with stock exchanges and regulatory bodies
• Ensure strict adherence to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) or IFRS and SEBI guidelines
• Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits, acting as the primary liaison for external auditors
• Maintain robust Internal Financial Controls (IFC) and risk management frameworks
• B ) Infrastructure & Project Finance Control
Monitor long-term capital-intensive projects, tracking engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) costs
• Oversee project accounting, revenue recognition (percentage-of-completion method), and asset capitalization
• Manage working capital, debt servicing, and liquidity for massive, multi-year developmental projects
• Ensuring that the Project Budgets are prepared on time and its strict adherence on monthly basis
• Devise of a system for strict financial & Commercial Discipline across the site / Project and create for the Cost consciousness across the Organisatio
nActively access the various risks and take appropriate measures to Mitigate the risks through IFC measures , insurance , process correction et
cEvaluate project profitability, cost overruns, and cash flow forecasts
.C ) Core Accounting & Team Leadership
Direct day-to-day general ledger operations, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Prepare comprehensive Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and variance analyses for the CFO and Board
• Lead, mentor, and structure the corporate finance and plant/site accounting teams
• Qualifications & Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
.15+ years of total experience, with specific leadership exposure in a large infrastructure secto
rAdvanced expertise in enterprise resource planning systems like SAP
