Position Purpose: The Finance Manager is responsible for all financial and accounting functions,
including budgeting, cash flow management, regulatory compliance, comprehensive
financial and compliance reporting.
The Finance Manager provides strategic insights to guide decision-making while
leading the finance team, fostering relationships with financial institutions, and
meticulously monitoring financial performance and controls. This role is crucial in
safeguarding the organisation's fiscal health and ensuring alignment with its strategic
objectives.

Key Selection Criteria
Essential
• Experience leading and managing a finance team
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative management team
Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, regulatory and financial reporting, compliance
requirements, and risk management
Excellent accounting software and administration skills
Experience in monitoring and optimising cash flow
Experience managing finance-related projects and initiatives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly
and effectively to non-financial stakeholders
Experience working in Aged Care or not for profit sector – minimum 3 to 5 years
Desirable
• Experience implementing and supporting financial system and process changes across an organisation
