Job Description
Job Title: Finance Manager (Tax & Compliance)
Location: BKC, Mumbai
We are looking for a confident Finance Manager to lead the team in the global tax & compliance function. Duties will include managing the Direct & Indirect taxation compliance for all of our 10+ legal entities worldwide, ensuring compliance with local regulations, review of accounting transactions from compliance perspective, analyzing financial data, coordinating filing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

What you'll do:
Overseeing and preparing reports for filing GST (India & Aus), VAT, ICP for global locations
Overseeing and preparing TDS monthly payments & returns compliance.
Coordinating and liaising with the auditors, consultants, authorities.
Overseeing and preparing the VAT, GST payout position.
Assisting in audit processes
Undertaking ROC compliances, FEMA compliances
Ensuring compliance with the relevant statutes, acts as may be applicable
Financial and data analysis
Reviewing the Financial statements, accounts on a frequent basis, to ensure compliance.
Researching on any new tax legislations in case of opening up business in new locations.
Any other matters, as may be required by the management.
What you'll need:
Qualified CA/CMA is a must. Experience in a Start-up is a plus
4-5 years of accounting / finance experience (post qualification)
Excellent quantitative skills with a great eye for detail
Good level of English.
Compliance oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of Excel / Google Sheets
Analytical / problem solver
Good understanding of GST, TDS, VAT , ROC, FEMA, Other tax compliance functions.
Team player
Proficiency in accounting software
Should have experience of handling tax & compliances in the past.
