Reporting into the Service Business Manager - East & NZ for our Medical Division, the new Service Team Leader - NZ will be based in Auckland. You will play a crucial role in leading service team members, assist in managing, maintaining and further developing the service operations and business interests of the region, and to assist Draeger Medical supply technical service ensuring quality outcomes for our customers.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Delegate service work, coach, monitor and provide performance feedback and development opportunities to NZ Medical Service team members;
Provide technical and operational assistance to team members when required;
Develop the engineering team by utilising constructive feedback and coaching methods;
Deliver technical expertise to internal sales and marketing teams to increase company support;
Regular reporting to management and key stakeholders on business performance;
Restore customer equipment back to operational status by timely responding to break service requests;
Conduct preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance;
Install devices and product upgrades while keeping clients informed on operational orientation;
Address customer concerns and issues effectively to maintain satisfactory company brand image;
Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
Always ensure a safety-first approach.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes:
Tertiary qualification in Biomedical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent field service experience in the medical device industry;
Proven experience in scheduling, coordinating or leading a small team;
Ability to prioritise delivering exceptional customer service to clients;
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and CRM applications;
Continued willingness to develop knowledge on Draeger’s medical products and services;
Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and;
Excellent leadership, analytical, problem solving, negotiation, influencing, facilitation, interpersonal, communication, organisational, and task management skills.
A Working With Children will be required for this position.
