About the roleJoin as a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair advanced medical diagnostic equipment in clinical and point-of-care settings. This role demands technical expertise and commitment to high-quality customer service in a dynamic environment.Key responsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade medical diagnostic and laboratory equipment at customer locations.Respond promptly to service calls and technical support requests ensuring timely resolutions.Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to uphold equipment reliability.Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and device history.Mentor field engineers, support inventory management, and collaborate to improve service operations.Required skills and experienceBachelors degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field preferred.Proven experience servicing medical devices, diagnostic or laboratory instruments.Strong electromechanical repair and troubleshooting capabilities.Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to travel as needed to support onsite customer requirements.Nice to haveExperience in clinical laboratory or point-of-care diagnostic environments.Previous mentoring or technical training experience.Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and service operations.LocationPlano, Texas, United States
