Field Service Engineer- Medekom (Medical Equipment)
About the Job:
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team at Medekom Ventures Pvt. Ltd.,(A DSS Group Company) based in Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of advanced medical devices, including high-resolution medical monitors, surgical systems, therapy solutions, and hospital care & mobility products. This role offers a great opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge healthcare technologies and collaborate closely with healthcare institutions to ensure seamless equipment performance and client satisfaction.
Location - Delhi & Hyderabad
Primary Role:
To ensure the smooth installation, calibration, servicing, and functioning of Medekom’s advanced medical equipment portfolio at customer sites. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for prompt troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation, calibration, validation, and commissioning of high-end medical devices.
• On-site and remote troubleshooting and repair of equipment to ensure minimum downtime.
• Conducting regular preventive maintenance as per the assigned service calendar.
• Providing technical training to hospital and lab staff on device usage and associated software.
• Maintaining accurate service records, reports, and spare part inventories.
• Supporting the documentation process for service-related tenders and internal coordination.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams including sales and logistics during pre- and post-installation stages.
• Assisting in follow-ups for installations, service calls, and payment coordination when required.
Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience in servicing advanced medical devices, preferably in diagnostics, surgical or monitoring systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a technical mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle client-facing scenarios.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing independent fieldwork.
• Willingness to travel as needed across assigned locations in North India.
Qualifications:
• B.Tech / M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, or equivalent fields.
• BSc/MSc in Biosciences or Life Sciences will also be considered.
• Candidates with prior experience in the Medical Device Industry (Service) will be given preference.
