Field Representative II – MS Onsite Technical Support
Location: Paramount, CA 90723 (Onsite)
Job Type: Temp to Engage
Pay Rate: $19.57 – $26.05/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Field Representative II to provide technical support for MFDs and printers within the Paramount Unified School District. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, reliable, and able to work unsupervised while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires traveling between schools using a assigned vehicle, performing troubleshooting, and providing hardware and software support. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first responder for MFDs and printers.
Travel to multiple school locations using a vehicle.
Clear paper jams, perform printer maintenance, and replace consumables.
Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair complex office equipment.
Maintain accurate service and inventory reports.
Organize and prepare jobs using Job Request Forms, including supplies and instructions.
Communicate effectively with clients, including delivering presentations if required.
Demonstrate operational knowledge of duplication and printing equipment.
Maintain a professional appearance and clean working environment.
Complete technical training on new equipment as assigned.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Site Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of related technical experience; 5 years preferred.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Ability to calibrate and troubleshoot office and complex technical equipment.
Strong communication skills and ability to give presentations.
Working Conditions
Office and school environments with normal lighting and temperature.
Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50–70 lbs, and moderate dexterity tasks.
Work involves occasional exposure to small office equipment hazards.
