V Magazine is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Fashion Market Editor to join our editorial team.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 2–4 years of experience at a fashion publication, who understands the pace, precision, and diplomacy required to execute high-level fashion shoots.
Key Responsibilities
Request and secure clothing, accessories, and samples from fashion houses and PR agencies for editorial shoots
Maintain and strengthen relationships with brands, publicists, and showroom teams
Track all incoming and outgoing samples with extreme attention to detail
Ensure that all fashion credits are accurate, properly formatted, and delivered on deadline
Coordinate sample returns and oversee proper handling of high-value pieces
Work closely with editors, stylists, production, and art teams to ensure smooth execution of shoots
Assist in seasonal market research and coverage
Plan schedules for senior leadership across New York, London, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks
Oversee a team of interns assisting in the fashion closet with sample management
Requirements
2–4 years of experience at a fashion magazine (market or fashion department preferred)
Strong knowledge of luxury fashion brands, emerging designers, and seasonal collections
Established relationships with PR agencies and showrooms
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Meticulous attention to detail, especially with credits and sample tracking
Professional, diplomatic communication style
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative editorial environment
