Job description
What you’ll do
a) Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and design apparel collections in line with market trends and brand requirements.
Create design concepts, sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications.
Select fabrics, trims, colors, and materials for new collections.
Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure timely product development.
Review samples and provide design modifications to achieve the desired fit and quality.
Conduct market research and analyze fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor products.
Prepare tech packs and ensure accurate communication of design specifications.
Manage multiple design projects and ensure timely completion of collections.
b) Preferred Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
510 years of experience in apparel or garment design.
Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion trends.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Good communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Experience working with sampling and production teams.
