Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer specializing in bags and accessories to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid sense of design, materials, and craftsmanship, with the ability to develop concepts into production-ready samples.
Key Responsibilities
Design innovative and trend-driven bags and fashion accessories.
Create sketches, technical drawings, and detailed design specifications.
Research market trends, materials, colors, and finishes.
Select suitable fabrics, leather, hardware, trims, and other materials.
Develop prototypes and make physical samples of new designs.
Refine designs based on feedback and ensure functionality, aesthetics, and quality.
Work closely with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams to prepare products for manufacturing.
Create tech packs and production documents.
Ensure designs meet quality standards, cost targets, and production timelines.
Stay updated with global fashion trends and competitor products.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Leather Design, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in designing bags and fashion accessories (freshers with exceptional portfolios may also apply).
Solid knowledge of bag construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing techniques.
Ability to independently create and assemble physical samples and prototypes.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design software.
Valuable sketching and technical drawing skills.
Understanding of patterns, measurements, and product development.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with leather, vegan leather, canvas, and premium fabrics.
Knowledge of luxury, premium, or contemporary fashion accessories.
Experience coordinating with vendors and manufacturers.
Familiarity with production processes and quality control.
Pay: ₹9,453.43 - ₹43,332.17 per month
