A highly active and established Family Law Firm in Brandon, Florida is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Family Law Paralegal to contribute to our high-performing team. In this key role, you will provide comprehensive support to one or both of our experienced attorneys, working on a wide range of family law matters. Qualifications:

A MINIMUM 3-5 years of Florida Family Law experience with a thorough knowledge of Florida family and domestic relations law, including but not limited to dissolution of marriage, paternity, modifications, child support, time sharing, parental responsibility, enforcement and contempt proceedings, equitable distribution, alimony, domestic violence injunctions, relocation, name change.
Proficient in all aspects of paralegal support, including drafting pleadings, motions, proposed orders, and correspondence; propounding and responding to discovery; preparing financial affidavits and mandatory disclosure documents; managing and organizing case files; conducting legal and factual research; preparing hearing and trial notebooks; communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel; handling e-filing through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal; coordinating service of pleadings and subpoenas; scheduling hearings, mediations, and depositions; and managing attorneys’ calendars and deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to proofread with accuracy, and possess strong attention to detail in your work
Ability to follow directions, yet work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office: specifically, Outlook, Word and Excel
Proficient with CRM style case management systems.
Possess an understanding of litigation procedures
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the attorney-client privilege
Must be able to work full-time. Business hours are between 8:00 to 5:00 M-F
Must be able to pass a background check
