Job Description

Te Haeata/The Opportunity

Family Court Coordinator's contribute to the operation of the Family Court by coordinating specialist services and playing a key role in managing relationships with management, the judiciary, professional service providers, legal practitioners, court users and community groups.

This position will be based at the New Plymouth District Court and is part of the Lower North Island Family Court Coordinator team. This is a permanent 28 hours per week position.

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills and experience:

have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
be able to juggle competing demands in a fast-paced environment
be self-motivated and have high levels of initiative
be committed to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi
have experience in or knowledge of Family Court procedures and legislation
have analytical skills to enable relevant legislation to be interpreted and applied
have proficient levels of computer literacy

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this role will be between $72,634 and $100,846 pro rata based on skills and experiences.
