Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Factory Labourer specialising in timber framing to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the production process, ensuring the efficient fabrication of timber components. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic workshop environment, contributing to high-quality timber frame structures.
Duties
Assisting with the assembly and fabrication of timber frames using hand tools and power tools
Operating and maintaining various workshop equipment with adherence to safety standards
Heavy lifting of timber materials and components to facilitate assembly processes
Cutting, shaping, and fitting timber parts as per specifications
Utilising sewing and fabricating techniques for specialised components when required
Organising materials within the warehouse for easy access and efficient workflow
Supporting team members in completing daily production targets
Ensuring the workspace remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
Experience in fabricating, or assembly work is beneficial
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and carry out manual tasks effectively
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a workshop environment

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
