Position: Facility / House Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facility / House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, facility management, and hospitality services of a premium private residence. The ideal candidate should have a strong Food & Beverage (F&B) background, preferably from luxury hotels or premium hospitality establishments, with proven experience in managing teams, maintaining service standards, and ensuring seamless household operations.
The role requires excellent organizational skills, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional hospitality while maintaining complete confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all household and facility-related activities.
Supervise, train, schedule, and monitor the performance of housekeeping, butler, kitchen, maintenance, and support staff.
Ensure five-star hospitality standards in food & beverage service, guest handling, table setup, and special events.
Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal planning, inventory management, and quality service.
Oversee facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security systems, landscaping, and preventive maintenance through external vendors.
Manage housekeeping operations to maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the property.
Handle procurement and inventory of household supplies, F&B items, cleaning materials, and operational equipment.
Coordinate repairs, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), and vendor services while ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.
Plan and execute family gatherings, formal dinners, and private events with attention to detail and luxury service standards.
Prepare operational budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain records of purchases and vendor payments.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and emergency procedures within the residence.
Maintain effective communication with the principals, promptly addressing requests while ensuring complete discretion and confidentiality.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Graduate in Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
Candidates with a strong Food & Beverage (F&B) background from luxury hotels, resorts, clubs, or premium hospitality establishments are highly preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Facility Management, House Management, Butler Operations, or Hospitality Management.
Experience in managing large residences, luxury villas, guest houses, or hospitality facilities will be an added advantage.
Strong leadership, vendor management, budgeting, and team management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory management, and basic reporting is preferred.
