Facilities Technician

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Facilities Technician to join our team in Crick. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs at the site, including fixtures and fittings. To work proactively with the QHSE Facilities team to maintain management systems that promote a positive Health and Safety culture.

This is a full time, permanent position, working any 5 out of 7 days.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
• Conduct inspections and maintenance of site facilities within the warehouse, including electrical, and plumbing systems
• Support site contractors to ensure safety and compliance with facilities maintenance
• Be responsible for planned preventative maintenance on site
• Carry out simple plumbing tasks including fixing leaks, unblocking sinks and drains etc

What you need to succeed at GXO:
• Experience of working in a similar role
• Effective team working and networking skills, the ability to work independently, using own initiative
• Electrical/ Mechanical Qualification Level 3
• Level 2 Diploma in Engineering, City Guilds 18th Edition Wiring
• IOSH Managing Safely
