Job description
We are seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist at multiple levels to support the development and execution of utility-scale solar EPC projects. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and securing suitable land parcels, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements, and facilitating smooth coordination with landowners, local authorities, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Identify and assess potential land parcels for solar project development. Negotiate lease or purchase agreements with landowners. Conduct legal due diligence, including title verification and encumbrance checks. Liaise with government bodies to obtain necessary approvals and permits. Coordinate land surveys, site assessments, and environmental clearances. Maintain accurate records of agreements, documentation, and status reports. Support project development, engineering, and legal teams with land-related inputs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree.3+ years of experience in land acquisition, preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
