Job Description:

Harris Door and Millwork is seeking a skilled and motivated Exterior Door Builder to join our production team. In this role, you’ll assemble high-quality exterior door units using components such as fiberglass, wood, steel doors, thresholds, weatherstripping, and sidelites. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and an understanding of durability requirements are essential in ensuring our products meet customer expectations and perform in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble pre-hung exterior door units using various components and materials
Install thresholds, weatherstripping, hinges, glass inserts, and hardware
Follow detailed work orders and quality specifications
Use power tools, jigs, and hand tools for precise and safe assembly
Ensure completed units meet quality, durability, and finish standards
Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:

Experience with hand and power tools, and understanding of general carpentry practices
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials (up to 75 lbs)
Strong attention to detail and focus on quality craftsmanship
Ability to read and follow work orders and shop drawings
Prior experience in door assembly or construction is preferred but not required
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment
