We want an Export Operations Customer Service team member to join our small but growing operations team! Every day will be exciting and challenging, working with a great team and local customers.
You will be the day to day contact for our customers managing the varying aspects of Exports and all the challenges that come with this diverse and exciting role.
This role involves but isn’t limited to the following core responsibilities:
Reporting shipping updates to customers.
Liaising with team all over the globe to ensure your customers’ cargo moves as arranged.
Tracking your customers export shipments.
Keeping up to date with what’s happening in the Global Shipping industry.
Regularly communicating with your customers and assisting with all aspects of international freight.
We are looking for a person who can:
Work autonomously but is also comfortable within a tight knit team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
A strong emphasis on time management and the ability to assess priorities.
Ability to develop and maximise value for our customers and ourselves.
Pro-active and can multitask.
Build relationships with external and internal customers.
To be considered for this position you must be a New Zealand citizen or resident, you will need to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug and ******* Test.
