Job Description

The Export Documentation Specialist is a vital role within the international trade and logistics department of a company engaged in exporting goods and services. This professional is responsible for ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently to facilitate the smooth movement of goods across international borders. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of export regulations and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Export Documentation Preparation:
 Prepare and review all necessary export documents, including commercial invoices,packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, export licenses, and other required documentation as per the destination country's regulations and the product being exported.
 Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all documents to prevent delays, fines, or other complications during shipment.

Compliance Management:
 Stay updated with international trade laws, regulations, and restrictions to ensure fullcompliance with export regulations and trade agreements.
 Verify that shipments meet all legal requirements and maintain records of compliance-related documentation.

Customs Clearance:
 Coordinate with customs brokers or freight forwarders to arrange the timely submission of export documents for customs clearance.
 Resolve any customs-related issues that may arise during the export process.

Shipping Coordination:
 Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule and monitor shipments, ensuring they align with export documentation requirements.
 Communicate with freight carriers and shipping companies to arrange transportation and track the progress of shipments.

Record Keeping:
 Maintain accurate and organized records of all export documentation, includingelectronic and physical copies.

Book keeping and Accounting:
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
 Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are promptly resolved.
 Process invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
 Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flowstatements.
 Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
