We have Urgent Opening of Export Documentation Executive in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi.
Location: Paschim Vihar.
Industry: Trading and Manufacturing
An Export Documentation Executive is responsible for all paperwork and administrative tasks related to sending goods to another country, ensuring compliance with export laws and regulations. Key duties include preparing pre- and post-shipment documents like invoices and bills of lading, coordinating with shipping agents and suppliers, maintaining organized records, and using computer systems to manage and upload documents. The role requires strong communication, computer, and attention-to-detail skills, as well as a foundational knowledge of export-import management and logistics. Key Responsibilities
Document Preparation:Creating and assembling documents such as invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (or House Bills of Lading), and Certificates of Origin for various destinations.
Coordination:Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs authorities to ensure smooth export operations.
Compliance & Record Keeping:Ensuring all export documentation adheres to country-specific laws and regulations and maintaining organized records for timely billing and audit purposes.
Shipment Tracking:Monitoring logistics activities, preparing reports on shipment progress, and ensuring goods are delivered on schedule.
System Updates:Using computer systems and software to upload and manage documentation, such as ICEGATE and E-Sanchit in India.
Problem-Solving:Addressing queries and issues that arise related to the documents and ensuring the proper checklist is followed to avoid delays.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), computer skills for logistics software, and awareness of HS codes and export schemes.
Soft Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
