90% of India’s ~$1 Trillion Retail Market is controlled by Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). We at Khatabook, have a vision to empower MSMEs and help them increase their incomes. We have built a product that brings efficiency in MSME operations by providing them easy to use tools to manage their receivables, inventory and billing which creates transparency in their cash flow. Within the Khatabook platform, we have also enabled the facility to take loans for their short term working capital needs for select Khatabook users that are displaying good credit behavior. People are our biggest asset! We, at Khatabook, are looking for a passionate QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile and API products. You’ll be an integral part of the product lifecycle — from understanding features and writing test cases to identifying bugs and ensuring smooth releases.
Design and execute test cases for mobile applications (Android/iOS) and APIs.
Perform functional, UI, regression, and negative testing for end-to-end product flows (e.g., Test app behavior under different network conditions (throttling, offline).
Analyze crash logs, performance issues, and app compatibility across devices and OS versions.
3–4 years of experience in manual QA testing (mobile + API).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience testing mobile apps on Android/iOS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, ADB, and Android Studio.
• Appium, Selenium, Rest-Assured).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred) .
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, mock servers, or API automation.
• Understanding of performance testing and app instrumentation.
• Ability to write simple code in Java/Python for small automation tasks.
