Nine Locks Taproom West Bedford is hiring experienced Line / Prep Cooks, and Pizza Cooks to grow our brand‑new full‑service location. If you’re motivated, outgoing, energetic, can work independently and love the fast and busy pace of a pub-style kitchen, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of something new and exciting.

Who We Are
Founded in 2015, Nine Locks Brewing Company is Nova Scotia’s number one craft brewery. From our home on the historic Shubenacadie Canal in Dartmouth, we’ve grown into a regional leader with award‑winning beers served in restaurants and stores across the province. We have recently opened a new taproom in West Bedford, which brings that same energy to a full dining experience — great beer, great food, and a great time. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high‑quality dishes following Nine Locks standards and recipes
Maintain professional, friendly, and courteous conduct at all times
Work under the guidelines of the Kitchen Training Manual
Stay organized and adaptable while supporting the operation
Demonstrate solid knowledge of food and beverage principles
Perform well under pressure during busy service periods
Learn quickly and contribute to a positive team environment
Maintain a clean, organized prep and work area
Prioritize health, safety, and workplace wellness
Be available for days, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years cooking experience in high volume establishment
Food Safe certification (or equivalent)
Experience with pizza or pub-style kitchens is an asset
Strong communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills
Ability to work independently as required
Ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting
Available for a minimum of 33+ hours per week
Additional Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Sponsorship and relocation are not provided
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
