Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled / experienced fiberglass Finisher to join our boat manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have experience in fiberglass finishing techniques with special attention to details and the ability to work with other team members.
Duties
Perform finishing tasks while utilizing tools effectively.
Accuracy and efficiency are required for this position.
Assist in finishing as needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work is also required for this position.
Engage in some heavy lifting and moving of materials throughout the building.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Able to lift more than 40 lbs.
Work within a team or group environment.
Skills
Proficiency in finishing techniques, including knowledge of tools, equipment, and sand paper and other components used in the process.
Knowledge of techniques for fiberglass and gelcoat.
Ability to understand instruction, specifications, read and interpret project requirements.
