Compensation: $20-$40/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Work collaboratively with general contractors, electricians, and other tradespeople.
• Install waste, water, vent, and gas piping according to specifications.
• Read and interpret building plans and blueprints effectively.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing emergencies swiftly and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections for plumbing and drainage systems to ensure functionality.
• Perform light construction tasks as necessary including carpentry and electrical work.
• Install a variety of plumbing fixtures and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools associated with plumbing.
• Knowledgeable about building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to understand and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
• Familiar with various piping materials including PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of completing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Basic mathematics skills, including measurement conversions.
Education and Experience Required:
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• State plumbing license preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience as a journeyman plumber.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must possess own hand tools.
