For an Experienced Claims / Member Services Consultant (typically 3–5+ years of experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services), the role usually involves handling more complex claims, supporting members, and providing technical guidance to colleagues.
Job description
An experienced consultant is expected to:
Manage end-to-end claims from lodgement through to settlement.
Assess complex claims and determine eligibility based on policy terms.
Respond to member enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
Explain policy benefits, claim decisions, and coverage clearly.
Investigate claims by reviewing documents and liaising with healthcare providers, brokers, repairers, or assessors.
Resolve escalated customer complaints and complex cases.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and privacy requirements.
Maintain accurate claim records and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge.
Contribute to process improvements and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Pay: $5,400.00 – $6,700.00 per month
