Urgent opening for the profile Expeditor Engineer at location Rajkot
Location: Rajkot, Gujarat
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
Joining Preference: Immediate Joiners
Role Overview we are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Expeditor Engineers to manage production coordination, vendor follow-ups, and manufacturing progress tracking. This role is ideal for candidates with machining workshop experience and strong process understanding.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and vendor teams to ensure timely execution
• Monitor manufacturing progress and track job/order status
• Follow up with vendors and internal departments to meet delivery timelines
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensure smooth material flow across fabrication and machining processes
• Identify delays and proactively drive corrective actions
• Maintain expediting records, reports, and documentation
• Support quality/inspection coordination when required
Required Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / BE Mechanical
Experience Requirements
• 23 years of experience in a machining workshop
• Preferably exposure to forged and/or cast parts
• Knowledge of fabrication and machining processes is an advantage
Essential Skills
• Drawing reading (mandatory)
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Vendor coordination & follow-up skills
• Documentation & reporting ability
• Problem-solving mindset
• Good communication & coordination skills
Preferred Attributes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong ownership and accountability
• Team-oriented approach
