Role Description The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations at Bamboo Saa Resort & Spa in Udaipur to ensure a consistently clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This full-time, on-site role leads and supervises housekeeping and laundry teams, including scheduling, task assignment, training, and performance monitoring. The Executive Housekeeper inspects guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance are upheld. The role coordinates with front office, engineering, and food and beverage teams to support smooth daily operations, guest preferences, and special requests. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory and ordering of supplies and linens, monitoring budgets and costs, enforcing health, hygiene, and safety standards, and supporting guest satisfaction through prompt follow-up on feedback and service recovery.
Qualifications
• Strong housekeeping operations skills, including room inspection, public area upkeep, laundry supervision, and inventory control.
• Proven leadership abilities in team management, including staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience in hotel or resort environments, ideally in luxury or wellness-focused properties, with a solid understanding of guest service expectations.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards, along with basic facility and equipment care within housekeeping and laundry areas.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with guests.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with basic technology and property management or housekeeping management systems for reporting and planning.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in a supervisory housekeeping role is also valued.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by resort operations.
