Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in New Delhi for an Executive Assistant.

The Executive Assistant will function as the primary point of co-ordination across the Founder's legal, corporate, and international commitments. The role sits at the intersection of administration, communications, research, and project support, and will evolve as the practice grows.



1. Administrative and Calendar Management
• Manage and maintain the Founder's schedule across all entities, including court dates, client meetings, board matters, and travel.

• Prepare and organise documents, briefs, and legal materials for hearings, meetings, and client engagements.

• Maintain disciplined filing systems for legal documents, correspondence, and corporate records across entities.

• Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications on behalf of the Founder with professionalism and discretion.



2. Communications and Liaison
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Founder's office and clients, co-counsel, corporate counterparts, and international partners including the French co-director of Coffre Fort Ventures.

• Draft, proofread, and finalise legal documents, formal letters, client correspondence, and internal communications to a high standard.

• Manage responses to emails and calls, and ensure follow-through on commitments made by the Founder.



3. Research and Information
• Conduct legal and commercial research as directed, compiling background material for cases, transactions, and business initiatives.

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the practice areas.

• Support research requirements for the joint venture and associated entities as needed.



4. Travel Co-ordination
• Arrange domestic and international travel including flights, visas, accommodation, and ground transport.

• Prepare detailed itineraries, briefing notes, and meeting packages for travel engagements.

• Accompany the Founder on select domestic and international trips where operational support is required.



5. Meeting and Hearing Support
• Prepare materials and documents for client meetings, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

• Attend meetings and proceedings as required, take accurate notes, and ensure timely follow-up.



6. Multi-Entity and Project Co-ordination
• Support operational requirements of Coffre Fort Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (Indo-French JV) and other umbrella companies within the Founder's portfolio, including correspondence, compliance follow-up, and document management.

• Assist in managing and tracking projects and assignments across entities, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Liaise with external advisers, government offices, and international counterparts as directed.



7. Confidentiality and Judgment
• Handle all confidential information, whether legal, commercial, or personal, with absolute discretion.

• Exercise sound independent judgment in day-to-day decisions, particularly when the Founder is unavailable.







Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; a background in law, commerce, or humanities is an advantage.

• Minimum five years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable senior support role.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in at least one Indian regional language. Knowledge of French or another European language is welcome.

• Demonstrated experience in legal or professional services environments.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite; familiarity with document management and practice management tools.

• Strong organisational capacity and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without loss of quality.

• Passport holder with the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally at short notice.

• Temperament for a fast-moving, intellectually demanding environment where priorities shift and independent initiative is expected.







Remuneration, Benefits, and Terms
Compensation is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and capability and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
