Job description – Executive Accounts & Stores
We are looking for a suitable candidate for the role of Executive Accounts & Stores to work as enabler in our mission on the newest IoT Technologies around Smart Cities and Industry 4.0.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Accounting & Finance:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, bank statements, and internal financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support audit procedures and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Stores & Inventory Management:
• Manage daily inventory transactions, including stock receiving, issuing, and storing.
• Conduct physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies with records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
• Maintain proper documentation for inventory movement (Good Receipt Notes, Invoices).
• Administrative & Technical:
• Utilize ERP, accounting, and inventory management software to log data.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, procurement) to align records.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous 1-3 years’ experience in accounting, inventory management, or a similar combined role.
Competencies & Skills Required for the Role
· Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP).
· Attributes: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle inventory data.
Typical Daily Activities
• Morning: Review pending invoices, update the previous day's inventory inward/outward transactions, and respond to vendor queries.
• Mid-day: Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and process approved invoices for payment.
• Afternoon: Perform physical checks on high-value or low-stock items and update the ERP system.
• Evening: Reconcile daily material movements (GRN vs. Physical stock), finalize daily reports, and prepare for the next day's requirements.
