Role Description
The Executive – Accounts and Administration is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The individual in this position will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including voucher entry, bookkeeping, invoice processing, bank reconciliation, and assistance with statutory compliances such as GST and TDS. The role also includes administrative responsibilities such as maintaining office records, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting procurement and inventory documentation, and ensuring proper filing and documentation of financial and administrative data. The Executive will prepare basic reports and summaries for management, support audits, and help maintain smooth office operations in alignment with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including ledger posting, reconciliation, and handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Proficiency in accounting and office software (e.g., Tally or similar ERP, MS Excel, and MS Word) to manage financial records and administrative documentation.
• Ability to handle general administration tasks such as record keeping, documentation, coordination with departments, and support for procurement and inventory processes.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and reliability.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
• Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or healthcare-related organization is beneficial, along with familiarity with basic statutory compliance requirements.
• Ability to work ethically, maintain confidentiality of financial information, and adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
