Role Description The Events Bidding Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for identifying relevant tenders and RFPs for exhibitions, conferences, and trade promotion activities, and coordinating the end-to-end bid process. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing bid requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, collaborating with sales, operations, finance, and design teams to gather inputs, and ensuring timely submission of complete, compliant bid documents. The Events Bidding Manager maintains and updates bid trackers, manages documentation and version control, and supports negotiation and follow-up activities with clients and partners. The role also involves market research on competitors and industry trends, maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships, and contributing to process improvements in bidding and proposal development.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong proposal and bid management skills, including experience in tender identification, RFP analysis, proposal structuring, and documentation control.
• Candidates should possess solid analytical and research skills to study market trends, competitor offerings, pricing benchmarks, and client requirements in the events and exhibitions domain.
• Candidates should possess effective project coordination and organizational skills to manage timelines, cross-functional inputs, version tracking, and multiple bids simultaneously.
• Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting clear proposals, presentations, and client correspondence, and for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess negotiation and relationship management skills to support discussions with clients, partners, vendors, and trade bodies.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (such as MS Office, spreadsheets, presentation software, and online tender portals), and basic comfort with CRM or project management systems.
• Relevant experience in events, exhibitions, trade promotion, or B2B marketing, preferably in a bidding or business development-focused role, is highly beneficial
