We are looking for a Registered Electrician with the skills, initiative, and passion to deliver high-quality EV charging solutions across New Zealand.

As an EV Charge Point Electrician, you will play a key role in the installation and servicing of Level 3 DC EV chargers at commercial, retail, and public locations nationwide. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Installing and commissioning Level 3 DC electric vehicle charging systems
Performing routine maintenance, diagnostics and fault rectification
Ensuring all work is delivered safely, to a high standard, and in line with technical specifications
Collaborating with project managers, civil contractors, and the broader ECL team to meet project timelines
Working away from home when required, including travel and stays of up to two weeks depending on project locations
About you:

You are a New Zealand Registered Electrician with a current practicing licence
You have a solid understanding of electrical systems, and preferably some experience with DC charging infrastructure (CHAdeMO, CCS or similar)
You are practical, safety-focused, and take pride in delivering work to a high standard
You are calm under pressure and capable of troubleshooting problems in the field
You are comfortable travelling for work and working on the road as needed
You have excellent communication skills and work well within a team environment
