Job Description
Lenbeth Weeping Tile (Edm) has been proudly providing services to the Residential, Commercial and Industrial sectors in Edmonton and surrounding areas since 1979. Starting with providing drainage on new homes, Lenbeth has continued to evolve into the multi-faceted company that it is today. Branching out into drainage and waterproofing on commercial foundations and parkades, Residential foundation repairs, material conveying/placement on commercial, Industrial and infrastructure projects as well as radon mitigation.
Lenbeth is currently looking to hire an Estimator who will primarily work with our Telebelt Division and provide back up for our Residential and Commercial Divisions as well.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Proficient in extracting detailed information from calls and emails to ensure accurate project quoting. Skilled in active listening and effective communication, enabling the collection of essential project requirements and specifications.
Adaptability – ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines and tasks in a rapidly changing work environment.
Very strong mathematical and analytical skills
Exceptional attention to detail.
Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
Ability to read and accurately interpret building specifications, drawings, and other contract documents
Effective stress management strategies to maintain composure and focus in, high-pressure situations. IE: multiple rush quote requests coming in at once.
Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current
Oil field equipment experience would be an asset.
Sage 50 Accounting knowledge would be an asset
Responsibilities
Work alongside Telebelt manager to ensure crew’s have all relevant information required for site.
Review and approve project contracts, purchase orders and changes.
Analyze project drawings, specification requirements and quote accordingly.
Aid in making sure crews have relevant orientations for sites.
Monitor project schedules keeping in contact with site prior to crew’s departure.
Collect paperwork from site crews and invoice accordingly adhering to company specific policies with invoicing procedures.
File paperwork correctly, maintain files of all working documents
Ensure all required materials are on hand for upcoming projects, order as required
Potential for commercial and residential estimating
Additional duties as needed or determined by Manager
