Estimator

Due to a rapidly growing market, CV Infrastructure Services is looking to grow our estimating team based in our head office at Hendra. You will specialize in high voltage substations/networks of different technologies and scopes of works. This involves all aspects of pricing delivery & pricing strategy, preparation, cost estimating, and liaising with various business units to develop and deliver competitive estimates and offers.

You will

Own the estimating process from reviewing tender docs through to final submission.
Work closely with operations and delivery teams to develop smart pricing strategies.
Use your practical knowledge (and our data, tools, and SMEs) to build realistic and competitive costs.
Lead conversations about risk, opportunities, and value-adds during bid planning.
Leverage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to stay ahead of pricing trends.
Prepare clear, detailed breakdowns of materials, labour, and subcontractor costs.
Ensure accurate handover to delivery teams—no surprises.
About You

A trade background in electrical, ideally with HV or commercial project exposure.
Experience estimating in civil infrastructure (roads, rail, utilities, or heavy industrial).
Proficiency in estimating software and tools
An ability to work with a range of different stakeholders, ensuring strong collaboration and communication throughout the delivery of the projects
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Be a confident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities and your time effectively
