E S builders Limited' is seeking a talented Beginner Quantity Surveyor (QS) and experienced/Qualified Carpenters to join their team in the Bay of Plenty region. Our head office is located in Tauranga which is where you mainly will be working.

This is a full-time opportunity for a member who is passionate about the building construction industry and driven to deliver high-quality projects, meet targets and manage the overall costing and budgets of the project.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets for construction projects
Negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
Measure and quantify work completed on site to ensure accurate invoicing
Provide technical support and advice to the construction team
Collaborate with the project/ Site managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Communicate to all management and subcontractors for tracking of works
What we're looking for

Quantity Surveyor: Minimum 3 plus years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction cost estimating, contract administration, and project management
Provide estimates and costings of jobs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the wider construction team
Proficient in using construction-related software, such as estimating and project management tools
Communicate clearly
Meet company project targets and ensure revenue
Commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality work
