Job Description
:
Looking for an energetic individual who will be responsible for managing and supporting the company’s ERP (Sage Intacct) systems including managing vendor and customer support of the application and day to day support. This position requires great attention to detail, strong communication skills, in-depth accounting knowledge, a team player mentality, an accounting background, and the ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for the following activities with respect to the management of the company’s ERP(Sage Intacct) systems:
Specific Responsibilities:
●Work closely with the Finance team to create financial reporting function dashboards to be used in management reporting
●Assist Finance, Accounting and FP&A with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
●Hands-on integration between ERP and third party applications
●Maintain users such as employees, vendors, and customers including the additions, deletions and modifications of accounts
●Create GL accounts and departments
●Monitor and manage ERP integrations with other applications
●Articulate and document needed customizations, reports and capabilities in support of new initiatives
●Manage existing tools and reports, updating them as needed by the business
●Facilitate the deployment of new tools and modules of the system
●Provide all necessary user training to enable effective use of ERP and other systems and processes
●Oversee and coordinate with ERP on troubleshooting
●Act as main liaison with the company’s ITand Security departments
●Optimize, implement, document, and train colleagues on standard operating procedures
●Provide input and advice regarding system capabilities and functionality
●Other projects as assigned by the Director of Finance, VP of FP&A, and CFO.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
●3-5 years of any ERP system, preferable Sage Intacct
●Able to communicate at the technical and end-user levels required
●Excellent written and oral communication skills
●Self-motivated, flexible, integrity, and committed to quality
●Passion for solving problems, investigating issues, and business logic
●Adept to work within a small team both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
●Inquisitive approach with proven analytical abilities
●Knowledge of accounting
