Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes, as well as pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups
Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients
Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned
Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements
Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies

Contribute to the educational goals of the department

Job Summary

Pharmacy Residency preferred but not required.
Education
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Experience:
• Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
Licensure/Certification
• Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
