Job Description
New Zealand Specialised Coatings Ltd is one of New Zealand’s most renowned and respected commercial/industrial flooring applicators in the country. An Approved Applicator of Sika Flooring Systems, NZSC was established in New Zealand in 2000, following 12 years of extensive experience in the industrial resin flooring industry overseas. With a time proven process and product, NZSC has built and maintained strong client relationships nationwide and has a reputation as being a reliable and constant force in the New Zealand flooring market.
Based in Palmerston North, we are seeking to expand our Team with a diligent and conscientious applicator/labourer. Experience is preferred however full, ongoing training will be provided to an applicant that shows potential. In all instances, please note, that extensive national travel is a requirement of this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working individual with vision, to get involved in national projects, that keep you engaged 5-6 days per week, whilst also enjoying the benefits of free travel around the country when working.
Key requirements:
preferable competence in resin coving, broadcast systems, roller coating and self-smoothing coatings
experience preferred with epoxy, resins and polyurethane floor toppings
previous experience in painting, plastering or trowelling an advantage in adapting to floor applications
exceptional adherence to site safety and safe work practises
flexibility with hours of work, together with nights away when required
must hold a valid NZ licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle
must be willing to sit all required health and safety courses
must be willing to be upskilled allowing growth within the Company
be physically fit
possess a strong work ethic with a focus on delivering work to a consistently high standard
be proactive, able to use initiative, respectful of colleagues and possess a positive can do attitude
