Role & responsibilities
• Execute IMCR and cost optimization projects.
• Analyze BOM cost and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Work on value engineering, material optimization, and design modifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including: Casting Forging, Sheet Metal Components, Fabrication Processes Machining Operations ,Welding & Assembly Techniques etc.
• Coordinate with R&D, Purchase, Production, Quality, and Vendors.
• Develop alternate vendors and localization opportunities.
• Prepare cost comparison, savings, feasibility, and MIS reports.
• Support validation and implementation of modified components.
Preferred candidate profile
• Strong knowledge of tractor/automotive components and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of BOM costing, VAVE, localization, and supplier costing.
• Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP systems.
