1. Flight Testing & Validation:
• Plan and execute ground and flight test campaigns for UAV systems.
• Validate flight control algorithms, navigation systems, propulsion systems, and payload integrations.
• Conduct envelope expansion testing and performance characterization.
• Perform system level validation under different environmental conditions (wind, temperature, altitude).

2. Rotorcraft & Flight Dynamics Expertise:
• Apply helicopter flight dynamics knowledge to analyze UAV behavior.
• Understand rotor aerodynamics, blade dynamics, vibration modes, and stability margins.
• Evaluate control authority, tuning effectiveness, and aerodynamic efficiency.
• Support autopilot tuning and flight controller optimization.

4. Test Planning & Documentation:
• Develop V&V plans, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain detailed test logs and validation reports.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and validation outcomes.

5. Data Analysis & Root Cause Investigation:
• Analyze flight logs (EKF performance, vibration data, control outputs, GPS health).
• Identify anomalies and perform structured root cause analysis.
• Work cross functionally with mechanical, avionics, and software teams to resolve issues.

6. Safety & Risk Management:
• Perform flight risk assessments.
• Ensure test safety protocols are followed.
