Job Description
As an Engineer in Application Development & Maintenance for Pricing Solutions, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our US Medical Products and Distribution (USMPD) business. Your expertise will help us deliver effective medical products that not only improve quality but also manage costs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage core SQL Server and Oracle databases, ensuring optimal schema design and performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines utilizing SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Automate data ingestion and validation workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Identify and rectify data quality issues proactively.
• Support stakeholders with data inquiries and investigations, fostering collaboration across teams.
• Document data structures and ETL processes, conducting training sessions for end users.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize profitability and enhance customer experiences.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance throughout processes.
• Perform ad hoc analytics to support cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization through automation and improved data delivery.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4-8 years of experience in a relevant domain is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in SQL, with experience in SQL Server and familiarity with database technologies like HANA and Oracle.
• Experience with ETL tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with pricing systems, processes, and data is preferred.
Additional Preferred Skills:
• Experience with relational databases, including creating stored procedures and automation.
• Knowledge of Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems or similar Price Management software.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and engaging stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient in documentation and creating data dictionaries.
• Background in software launch methodologies such as Agile or Kanban.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and handling structured/unstructured data.
Location: This position can be remote, with candidates expected to work within EST or CST business hours.
Anticipated Salary Range: $94,900 - $135,600
